There is a lot of information available from the internet. However, sometimes it can be difficult to locate. We hope that you find the following links useful:
- Arizona Automobile Dealers Association (AADA) The AADA is an association representing new vehicle dealerships in Arizona.
- Arizona Department of Financial Institutions - MVD Page Primarily protecting the public against improper financing contracts, this department issues two licenses that may be required by your dealership (see the section on 'Bonding & Licensing').
- Arizona Independent Automobile Dealers Association (AIADA) The AIADA represents independent (used vehicle) automobile dealership through out Arizona.
- Arizona MVD - Licensing Page This is the Arizona Department of Transportation's dealership licensing page.
- Service Arizona This where you 'interact' with MVD when issuing items like TRPs.
- National Alliance of Buy Here Pay Here Dealers (NABD) This is an organization that is organized by a CPA firm out of Texas. It puts on an annual conference in Las Vegas that deals primarily with issues relating to Buy Here Pay Here dealerships. While it is a very commercialized event, there is plenty of information to be gained. Some of the participants go every year. If you have never been, it is advisable to attend it at least once.
- National Independent Automobile Dealers Association (NIADA) As a member of the AIADA you will also be a member of the National organization which looks at issues relating to the automotive industry from a local as well as national perspective.
